This lecture addresses contemporary developments in Chinese marriage and family law as applied to foreign citizens. Topics addressed are how foreign clients can get married and divorce in China and to what extent Chinese courts recognize foreign family judgments and orders. The program will also discuss how China court is coping with COVID through application of digital technology and how this trend is positively impacting family law litigation.
